Branch is focused on acquiring knowledge in the areas of security in computer systems and networks, cryptography and its applications. The aim is to prepare graduates who will be able to work in various roles critical to ensure IT security – specific profiling (eg. towards cryptography, technological aspects and safety management) is left to the listener.


Security focus of computer and communications technology prepares graduates to work in the development and management systems that support safety applied cryptographic methods to ensure specific safety functions. Graduates find employment in companies developing and supplying systems taking into account the security requirements, but also in advanced management and operation of such systems.Cyber security focuses and reflects aspects of overlapping data processing system outside the tightly defined perimeters (eg. the impact on critical infrastructure), reflected in the so-called cyber security and enabling specific multidisciplinary overlap both technical and social, and legal aspects of cyber security. Graduates find employment especially in companies and institutions that with regard to rules on cyber security.
